Siam Pasta is permanently closed as of August 22, 2021 but the location will reopen soon as Yasotorn Thai Cuisine. I am looking forward to it!

I have made this restaurant my go-to place during the pandemic: the food is hot and delicious, and the owner is a delight. Tonight's dinner was divine, as always! I pick up myself and try to remember to pay with cash to help the restaurant along as best I can.

I'm typing this while eating my leftover curry and I am so happy. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Evanston, always so delicious! The pad Thai and panang curry are my two favorites. I'm also a huge fan of their Thai iced tea- and I'm pretty picky about those. It's very reasonably priced and the portions are big- I always have leftovers for another meal. The staff is also very friendly. Love this place!

Had lunch here with my family on a whim. Glad we came!!! It's been difficult to find a good Thai resto Ann take out place that is authentic! Had the crab lagoon which is too much lagoon aka cream cheese and too little crab. But well fried. The pad see eiw was great! On point! So much so that I got an additional order to go. The Tom yum soup was a good balance of sweet and sour. Thai fried rice was amenable as well. Will come back despite the original decor bc the food was legit!

I'm surprised that I haven't written a review since I've eaten here so many times since 2005! Talk about taking something good for granted - Siam Pasta, you have my deepest apologies! This would normally be a 3 star rating because I can't really think of one thing that really sticks out but like I said, having come back sooo many times - they deserve the 4 stars. Why do I keep coming back you may ask? Well in the summer time, you can dine upstairs and outside, that's a nice change. Their Tom Yum soup has just the right tart, amount of chicken breast and mushrooms - it's truly delightful. Their noodle dishes (pad Thai, pad see ewe, pad woon sen) can go toe to toe with any Thai grandma's cooking. Their veggies are really fresh and they don't skimp on the protein. If you're really into peanut butter sauce - try the Rama chicken with white rice. The seating arrangement is kinda strange (on three levels) and it looks like they could remodel the interior but in terms of the cooking, it has been consistently very good.

Evanston! This cute Thai restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area, and the inside has all sorts of nice nooks and crannies with nice wood carved accents. They run a nice lunch special for $6.95 but the entree items are limited. So I ordered off of the regular menu. The Red Curry, served with a side of jasmine rice, was heavenly and spicy too! The tofu was cooked to perfection and the curry was one of the best I've ever tasted. Since I order red and yellow curries everywhere, trust me on this one! The Thai iced coffee was strong and sweet. Great place to stop in for a cheap movie and dinner date, or when you're shopping the cute shops of downtown Evanston.
